Q: So, do you know when they are coming out with the 2009 Jeeps...specifically the Commander?
thanks....I don't want to pay too much for an 08 lease if they are coming out soon.
A: Early Septemer is when the new JEEPS are coming out. The JEEP commander is not being made any longer. That is one of the models that Chrysler stopped production on. The 2008 Commander is the last year for that vehicle. They are good vehicles and the only draw back is the MPG. The 3.7l gets 15 mpg, the 4.7l gets 15-16 mpg and the 5.7l Hemi gets 15 MPG. Good luck with your choice.
Q: Is there any way that you can attach a 7'3" surfboard and a clam shell on top of a Jeep?
If there is a way how can you do it? And what type of racks or straps should you use?
This is pretty much what the Jeep looks like: http://www.edmunds.com/new/2009/jeep/commander/101082886/prices.html
Also what kind of rack should i use for a 7'3" surfboard on Nissan Maxima: http://www.carsense.com/inventory/details.asp?vid=B11230
A: Well for the maxima you can probably squueze it in your car. I have a honda civic and i fit a 7 foot in my car easily. Just lean the passenger seat all the way down and put the board in wax side up. For the jeep any straps shuould work really. My friend has a jeep and straps an 8'0 pn with just straps from a surf shop.
Q: suv compareson................?
question 1
which one of these have the eiter sound system
2009 hummer h2
2009 chevy tahoe
2009 jeep commander
question 2
wich on has more power
question 3
which is more relieable
thanx 4 your time
A: Well, right now, GM makes a much better product than Chrysler, so we can forget the Jeep right now. The Tahoe and Hummer are both made by GM, so they should have about the same quality.
Both the H2 and Chevy can seat the same number of people (8) and have the same number of doors. The Chevy and Hummer are about equal with the creature comforts and all that stuff (but power seats and CD player come standard on the Tahoe, not so on the H2). Although I could not find the hp for a 2009 H2, I'd be willing to bet it does have more power than the Tahoe. The Hummer does have a 6.2L V8 while the Tahoe has a 5.3L V8 (320hp). However, the Tahoe is much lighter, gets better fuel economy and handles better. Both are Flex Fuel. The Tahoe LTZ (top of the line Tahoe) is about $9000 cheaper than the H2, so you could afford to trick it out and make it better than the H2 in some of the areas it lacks. Besides, less people are going to flip you the bird in a Tahoe as compared to a Hummer or Commander and you can park it more places.
Given the choice, I'd buy the Tahoe (or a Suburban).
